About Rhoad to College
Rhoad to College Consulting LLC is a company with a business goal of helping high school students and their families successfully and confidently navigate through the college admission and financial aid process. With 1-on-1 consulting and instruction, students and their families will be able to research and apply to colleges, scholarships and successfully complete the FAFSA!
Tracking them through their journey, Rhoad to College Consulting LLC will be the guiding light toward a bright future for them by providing resources, tips, and essentials to make the process manageable for all.
Bio
Dr. Carlotta R. Prince is a woman who wears many hats; School Counselor, Cheerleading Coach, Senior Advisor, a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc, sister, daughter, God- Mother and friend; and she wears each with pride.
Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, Dr. Prince was taught the importance of receiving a good education from her parents and therefore graduated from the Detroit Public Schools system with an above-average g.p.a. and ACT score.
Dr. Prince completed her Bachelors of Arts majoring in psychology, minoring in sociology from Bowling Green State University in 2009. She earned a Masters of Science in School Counseling from Capella University in 2013 and recently completed her doctorate degree in Counselor Education Supervision in March, 2022.
Dr. Prince currently works as a High School Counselor at a Metro Detroit area school where she works with 9th-12th graders helping to prepare them for life beyond high school.
Dr. Prince lives by the motto: Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing

College was not always a walk in the park for Dr. Prince, but with hard work, determination, support from her family and friends, and her faith in God; she was able to beat the odds by being the first person in her family to graduate from college. She now dedicates her life to ensuring that students have the opportunities that she was never afforded.
